Eyelash Extension Training - $1,500

This program is intended for students interested in pursuing a career in eyelash extensions. Students will be taught the importance of taking necessary precautions and following safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Before working on live models during preclinical training and on clients in the clinic, students must successfully complete all sections of the Infection Control Practical Skills test.

1. Students will show how to properly clean and disinfect all tools used for eyelash extensions.

2. Students will explain the steps to follow if adhesive accidentally gets into a client's eyes.

3. Students will demonstrate how to conduct a patch test to determine if a client is allergic to adhesive.

4. Outline the requirements for obtaining an eyelash technician license.

5. Describe the process for renewing an eyelash technician license.

6. Provide a list of equipment and supplies necessary to open an eyelash salon.

7. Identify the structure, function, and disorders of the eye and orbital area.

8. Recognize contraindications and allergic reactions related to eyelash extensions.

9. Understand the different stages of eyelash growth cycles.
